What led to heading to the Northern Territory?

After 32 years serving with CMS in Africa and Asia, God has opened a new door for me to serve him in a more pastoral role. I hope to use some of my experience working with vulnerable communities and children, and to be available to be used by him in the very different context of the Northern Territory.

Investing in the next generation

Northern Territory Indigenous peoples face many challenges, especially those who come in from remote communities to access health and other services in the larger cities. Many do not speak English so navigating services is difficult.  In some areas, church leaders are getting older or face sickness, so there is a role to encourage and support younger Indigenous Christians as they grow in local church leadership.

Will you partner with me?

Isolated and remote, with limited supports, I need your partnership now as much as ever, in what could well be one of the more challenging roles I have taken on. Will you join me by praying, staying in touch, and giving to CMS SANT as under God I seek to see Indigenous communities supported, growing stronger and able to more fully participate in the life of the church, discipling and caring for others?
