Want to find out more? I’m considering joining the team to support Emma going to France:
Despite their history of Christianity, France is now a secular nation with under 2% evangelical believers. The church in France has limited reach and human resources and struggles to share the good news effectively. They are asking for our support. After a season of full-time language learning, I hope to join with Perspectives, a church planting network to equip, encourage and mobilise believers to reach their communities with the gospel.
France is full of beautiful and delicious things: its buildings, spectacular art, amazing food. So much about France and French culture shows us God’s beautiful creation. Yet the local church is small and has limited reach and resources, struggling to share the good news effectively.
Local churches create opportunities for spiritually hungry people to meet Christians; to meet people who can open the Bible with them, that they might encounter Jesus.
The French church has asked for our help. We have been invited to partner with a French denomination of churches called Perspectives as they plant churches in under-reached places in France, so that the gospel is accessible to all French people.
Would you partner with me as I say ‘yes’ to this invitation?
For the last few years, I’ve worked on a church staff team here in Melbourne – discipling Christians, leading worship, preaching, and getting involved in local evangelism. I’m excited by the opportunity to use these skills and experience in France.
You might think of cycling as a solo endeavour, but the Tour de France is a team sport. It’s the same with mission. Mission is not a solo endeavour. It’s a team sport. And I’m wondering if we can be a team that makes gospel partnership with the church in France possible?
Would you partner with me in prayer? Praying that French people who are spiritually hungry would meet Christians who can explain the Scriptures to them, and encounter Jesus?
Would you partner with CMS financially; providing the resources that makes all this possible?
There are buttons at the top where you can sign up to receive my prayer updates and give financially.
