Why we chose mission

Our desire is to make everyone that we meet feel that Jesus is worth everything they have. We are convinced that Jesus is the one true God of gods and Lord of lords – the true and only source of blessing and guidance, and the true and only Saviour both in this life and the life to come. As others continue to represent Jesus in their hometowns, we’re moving to a city with far fewer Christians, praying that God might use us to encourage those few Christians as we pray and work together to introduce people to Jesus.

Freedom from spiritual bondage

Taiwan has one of the highest concentrations of Buddhist and Taoist temples in the world. These are a visible reminder of the spiritual bondage that the people of Taiwan are experiencing. Most people worship gods and ancestors as part of their daily life, and even more people participate in annual festivals of worship, such as the Mazu pilgrimage and Ghost Month. We hope to partner with a local university ministry and local churches to invite people into the freedom of trusting and worshipping Jesus.

All gospel ministry is strengthened by partnership. We aim to serve in Taiwan long-term, which will involve ongoing support from people who are invested in keeping us there. Would you be able to free us up for this ministry by partnering with us financially and in prayer?

Please pray with us that God would work in Taiwan like he did in Thessalonica – that the gospel would ring out from the Taiwanese church throughout Asia and beyond, as people turn from idols to serve the true and living God and to wait for his Son Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
