Our mission journey

In 2012, CMS sent us to Leipzig to pioneer the German-language branch of Leipzig English Church (LEC). Thanks to your generosity and support, we have been able to minister here for the last 12 years. In September 2024, LEC will plant a German-speaking church (Christus Gemeinde/Christ Church) in the neighbouring town of Markkleeberg. Klaus will pastor the plant, which will be under the umbrella of GAFCON’s Anglican Diocese in Europe (ACE).

In 2024, we helped plant a German-speaking church in nearby Markkleeberg. Klaus now serves as pastor of Christ Church Markkleeberg, a growing gospel community in a town of around 26,000 people with very little evangelical witness. The church is part of GAFCON’s Anglican Diocese in Europe (ACE).

An evangelical witness to Markkleeberg and beyond

Markkleeberg is also home to a new confessional Christian school that has welcomed the presence and partnership of the church plant. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve in a place where gospel-centred witness is still rare, and to see God building a Christ-exalting community in this setting.

Alongside this, Jude leads Gloria Kollektiv, the German partner of Emu Music, serving churches across Germany through music ministry training and resources. This work continues to equip congregations with theologically rich songs, and to support leaders through conferences and practical training.
