Why we chose mission

We want to help people in a less-resourced area truly know the Lord Jesus. In our case “the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

Developing resources for future disciples

Next term we will move to what (God-willing) will be our long-term location. It is one of the strongholds of the majority religion in our country. We are going there to use our training in translation and linguistics to help with the development of local language outreach and discipleship resources. We also aim to be involved in the use of those resources, helping people come to know our amazing God. He so loved us that he himself came down to this messy, sinful world to cleanse us from the inside-out so that we might have life to the full with him.
