Why we chose mission

After a period of working amongst a primarily Arab Muslim community in western Sydney, our eyes were opened to the profound spiritual darkness that has a hold on so many globally. After visiting the Middle East, the Lord simply showed us how great the need and opportunities were.

Precious opportunities to share Jesus

We are working amongst a wide range of displaced people groups which have never ever before had such freedom to interact with Christians and churches. Their context of need provides a great opportunity and open-mindedness to share candidly about who Jesus is and how much he loves them. On top of this, the method of discipleship we are using allows for a natural and culturally appropriate spread of the gospel, avoiding certain obstacles found in the surrounding sects and denominations.

Every day we face challenges that we feel too weak to deal with or that we don’t fully understand from our own experience. We really need regular encouragement to keep going, and we need the spiritual protection that prayer provides. We also live in a country marked by instability, and your financial support allows us to focus on word ministry and supporting others, instead of worrying about each new crisis.
