Why we chose mission

Hello, we are Tim, Eloise, Sammy and Phoebe. God made us to know him and knowing him is such a joy and privilege! So, since we started following Jesus and since seeing and experiencing the goodness of knowing him, we have had a deep desire to share this good news and to work alongside others in seeing a world that knows Jesus.

Working with Indigenous church leaders to encourage and disciple believers

God has placed faithful Indigenous church leaders in Arnhem Land and CMS has committed to working together with these leaders to strengthen the church in the Northern Territory. We are going to Ngukurr as church support workers in the hope of offering encouragement to some of these leaders as well as being faithful witnesses to the goodness of Jesus. We hope to work with Indigenous leaders as they teach God’s word and pastor people in their walk with Jesus. As well as supporting these leaders, we hope to take every opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with others in Ngukurr as we go about our day-to-day lives.
