We have over 200 long-term workers serving in strategic ministries to reach people for Christ. Our workers receive in-depth cross-cultural training and ongoing pastoral support.
We partner with churches and individuals in Australia to prayerfully and financially support long-term missionaries.
CMS also works with other Australian organisations in sending, equipping and supporting long-term workers who reach gospel-poor peoples for Christ, equip Christian leaders for church and society, and engage churches in cross-cultural mission.
We serve as co-labourers with over 100 international partners, including churches, schools, universities and Christian organisations, in more than 35 countries around the world. Our partners are involved in ministries that fit with our gospel vision and purpose.
Our partners welcome CMS workers into their programs and ministries to share the lasting hope of Jesus Christ with people.
We encourage people to get involved in cross-cultural mission through our six branches across Australia.
The CMS-Australia office, based in Sydney, works for and on behalf of the branches to train cross-cultural workers, place them with international partners and provide pastoral care for them. The CMS-A office also provides some services for the branch offices, including finance and communications.
