Pray with Malcolm & Ainsley Purdey for rest and refreshment over the school holidays. Give thanks with Chris & Stef Overhall for school holidays and time to rest as a family, and pray for the new semester of MOCLAM and CEP classes starting on 29 June. Praise God with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Álex (& Karina) Córdova Morales for the two new members in their local church council. Pray that God grants them wise, servant hearts, and give thanks for the finishing members who have served faithfully the last three years. Pray with CoMPs Andrés & Annika Ruiz-Caro that God will provide timely visa approvals and grant them patience and trust in this stressful process. Give thanks with Adrian & Anita Lovell for the chance to train church leaders in inductive Bible study. 

Pray with Ned Gifford that students in Buenos Aires will meet Jesus on campus. Give thanks for the students boldly inviting people to join and read the Bible together. Praise God with Amy Stephens for the ABUA Camp last month in Córdoba, and that students valued the time spent in fellowship and studying Ephesians. Pray with Martin & Julie Field that as they prepare the Mark Drama, God will emotionally and spiritually prepare the students to present the gospel clearly and faithfully. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Esteban Abregú (& Constanza Herrero) that everyone involved in and coming to see the Mark Drama performances this month will feel the impact of the gospel. Give thanks with Pedro & Joy Oliveira Woolmer for teaching opportunities at their church. Pray that in one-on-one meetings, home group, and campus groups, people will all be committed to studying God’s Word together. Pray with Nick & Kysha Davies for good farewells, safe travels and a smooth return to Peru after Home Assignment. Pray with CoMPs Bryan & Sarah Haro Leon as Bryan starts teaching Bible classes to new believers at church. 

Give thanks with Matt & Ellen Tyler for an enjoyable and restful holiday. Ask God to provide people willing and able to continue teaching them Daakaka. Praise God with Andy & Rachel Carden for the partnership of their link churches, and pray for mutual encouragement from their visits. Pray with Bill & Linda Colyer for reconnection with education students who have been away on teaching practicals for two months. Pray with Michael & Ashlynne Davis for their last church visit this week before pre-departure processes begin. Pray that through it all, their eyes will be fixed on Jesus. Ask God with Joel & Tiffanie Atwood for patience, perseverance and energy in language learning. 

Give thanks with Ian & Jenny Wood for encouragement from their visits with partner churches and supporters, and pray for safe travels driving back to Darwin this month. Pray with Derek & Rosemary Snibson that the Bagot Community Church in Darwin will continue to grow as disciples and in their ministries. Pray with Simon & Claire Koefoed that Family Clericon (clergy conference) this month will be an encouraging time as ministry families gather from across the NT. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) James Woods (& Miriam Numamurdirdi) for James’ continual growth as a teacher and in his VET qualifications, that he may understand the Bible well to teach it faithfully. Pray with CoMP Marlene Andrews for a flourishing youth ministry in Ngukurr church, and ask God to raise up suitable leaders. Pray with CoMP Mandy Manggurra for the establishment of youth work in the Numbulwar church to complement the children’s ministry. 

Pray with Chris & Karen Webb for the women in Karen’s Bible study who are engaging deeply with God’s Word. Ask God with Matt & Lisa Pearson to strengthen the Kunwinjku saints with all power according to his glorious might, that they may endure with patience and joy, giving thanks and walking worthy of him. Pray with Maggie Crewes that God will continue to uphold the Alice Springs community after the tragic murder of a little girl. Give thanks for the annual meeting of gospel workers and clergy from across the NT this month. Pray with Josh & Steph Mackenzie as their family settles back into community life after medical leave away from location. Pray that God will continue to work in their lives and the lives of those they minister among. Pray with Sam & Bec Gorfine for students attending the Anindilyakwa Bible Translating class at Nungalinya College this month. Pray that the students will continue to develop a deep love of scripture and are equipped to translate God’s Word for future generations. Pray with Geoff & Hannah Harper for the opportunity to rest next month at a holiday house kindly lent to them. Pray for rejuvenation after many big changes this year. 

NSW & ACT: Give thanks for the Lasting Hope Appeal and all who have given so far. Pray that many hearts will be stirred towards supporting global mission. QNNSW: Give thanks for the many faithful supporters and churches praying and giving to support CMS missionaries. Pray that many more will be inspired to give generously through the Lasting Hope Appeal. SANT: Pray that God will raise up the necessary funds through the Lasting Hope Appeal, and that the branch will be grateful and faithful stewards of these resources from God.  TAS: Pray for an outstanding Lasting Hope Appeal which sees the branch return a balanced budget for the financial year. VIC: Pray the Kids Camp this month is both an encouragement and an opportunity for spiritual growth for the children and leaders. WA: Pray for God’s provision as the branch faithfully seeks to meet end-of-financial-year expenses. Praise him for the generosity of supporters and partner churches. 

Praise God with D & T that H, their friend of 13 years and husband of M, has come to trust in Jesus, and pray for his ongoing growth as a child of God. Praise God with L for her safe arrival on location, and for the encouraging faithfulness and perseverance of local churches. Pray with Lachlan & Candy Grice that as their language ability grows, they will see more ways to express love for neighbours, colleagues, teachers, friends and strangers. Pray with Sam & Shan-Shan Chrisp that the women in Shan-Shan’s morning Bible study will make the most of the brief time together when they meet. 

Pray with Kellie Nicholas as she leads the West area KGK staff in training for one-to-one Bible reading. Give thanks with Elle Bryce as she travels for Home Assignment this month, and pray for meaningful farewells and handovers in Japan. Pray with Chenny Thie for KGK student leaders as academic pressure increases – ask God to give the students perseverance, wisdom and spiritual depth. Give thanks with Dene & Rachel Hughes that, as they pack up their house, they are remembering the many blessings from their service in Japan. Pray for clear minds and generous spirits as they finalise logistics and farewell friends. 

Pray with Matt & Bex Ooi that as summer camp season begins, God will use the camps to encourage young believers in Japan. Pray with Steven & Sandra Parsons as Steven meets with other TEAM directors in Canada next week – that their hearts will be open to God’s guidance. Pray with Lachie & Zaneta Neal that they will continue to apply themselves diligently, humbly and prayerfully to language learning each day. Give thanks with Adam & Helane Ramsay for the recent Mark Drama performances, and pray that everyone involved was blessed and encouraged. Pray with Nathan & Maki Clapham for continued patience and persistence in relationship building. Pray with Tony Nguyen & Yenli Taniwan for continual growth in language and culture learning. 

Praise God with Co-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Ashish Christian & Karuna Sharma for Karuna’s PhD thesis submission. Pray also for Ashish’s D.Min. dissertation progress, for Ashriel and Adriel starting the new school term, and for good health and provision for the family. Pray with CoMPs Jiwan & Binita for God’s guidance in their lives regarding family, study and ministry. Pray with CoMPs Sam & Sharmila Budhathoki for the Nepali student ministry movement as it seeks to appoint a new leader. Pray this new leader will understand the changing context of Nepal and serve the students faithfully. 

Give thanks with A for her Home Assignment and the privilege to share about gospel work in South Asia with churches, youth camps and growth groups. Praise God with E for time with friends and supporters on Home Assignment. Pray with S & E as they run a session in the local language on communication in marriage – that they will faithfully teach God’s wisdom. Ask God with M & K for his provision of the necessary paperwork for a smooth return to location. Pray with Co-Mission Partners A & K for attentiveness to the Spirit as they transition back to South Asia after their Home Assignment. 

Pray with R for wisdom in relating to local friends about the Word. Pray with J & P for good handovers on location as they prepare for Home Assignment. Praise God with S & D for a conference in a nearby country this month. Give thanks with J & S for the relationships they are developing as they settle into their new location. Ask God with J & A to bless their marriage and provide good friendships for their kids on location. Pray with Derk & Susan as they fly to Australia separately this month, so that Derk can finish the semester and grade students’ exams. Ask God for travelling mercies and a good start to their Home Assignment. 

Give thanks with Je for sisters A and K finding new life in Christ. Ask for wisdom in discipling them, and pray that their families will also come to follow the Lord. Give thanks with Dan & Marg for a great start to the school year and for such godly, thoughtful, caring and professional colleagues. Pray with S & M that the local church will grow in maturity and be empowered to welcome and love people. Praise God with Gavin & Megan Rosser for his sovereignty, love and faithfulness in turbulent times. 

Praise God with B for encouraging visits, deepening relationships, and many opportunities to serve on location. Pray with Jo that more Arab Christians will grow in their confidence to connect with people in their communities. Pray with W & S as W completes an Arabic intensive on the Trinity. Pray that this learning will equip him to speak to local people with grace and truth. Give thanks with C for refreshment, encouragement and rest during last month’s retreat for workers in the region. Pray with L for good health through a hot summer, and for strong connections with students, that they may see Christ in him. 

Give thanks with M & O for new local believers – particularly their growth in confidence, knowledge and trust in Jesus. Pray with J & D that God will bring many local people into relationship with Jesus as their Saviour, and pray that he will raise up many gospel workers through CMS. Pray with E that people will apply the tools from last month’s Bible training event in their walks with God. Pray also for the upcoming biblical relationships event. Give thanks with C & L for God’s work this academic year, making Jesus known and growing his people in their love for him. Pray with M that he will continue to serve his housemates with love and joy. Pray with R & S that their church on location will continue reaching others with the love of Jesus. 

Praise God for the generosity of the CMS fellowship in supporting missionaries around the world. Pray that God will continue to raise up missionaries to serve in locations around the world, all for his glory. 

Pray that the CMS-A Board meeting today will be fruitful and the discussions seasoned with salt. Give thanks for the pastoral visits this year, and ask the Lord to sustain the Regional Mission Directors as they travel and meet with missionaries and ministry partners. 

Pray with Klaus & Jude Hickel that they and the congregation will be increasingly bold in evangelism. Praise God with Simon & Sam Graham for the deep desire of their partner churches to see a world that knows Jesus. Ask God to strengthen and unify their partnerships towards that goal. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Jotham Booker that his church camp in early June will be rich in fellowship, love and spiritual growth. Pray with Michael & Rani Grivas-Allison for GBU groups as they proclaim Jesus – that students will be taught and admonished with all wisdom, that they might be presented mature in Christ (Col 1:28). Pray with Howard & Patricia Spencer that God will provide a long-term office and new admin staff for the GBU. Give thanks with CoMPs Leon & Oliva Le that our faithful and almighty God will accomplish his good purposes. 

Pray with Simon & Jessica Cowell for energy and perseverance for their family and the GBU groups through to the end of the academic year. Give thanks with Jason & Hannah Fairclough for many opportunities to share the gospel among students this semester. Pray that those investigating Jesus come to trust him. Pray with Gillian Law for focus, energy, and patience during a busy time of finishing the academic year and GBU ministry in Rome before Home Assignment. Ask God with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Andrea (& Geanne) Becciolini to be preparing and raising up student leaders for the next academic year. Ask God with CoMP Manuel Ardolino for his grace and wisdom as the student group searches for new and committed leaders. Pray with CoMPs Boštjan & Lidija Cifer for encouragement and growth from an upcoming seminar on equipping the European church for evangelism. Pray also for a picnic gathering with several churches to celebrate the end of the school year. 

Pray with Jim & Tanja French that MOCLAM students, Evie and Silas at their schools, and Jim with his language learning will persevere through a busy month of study and exams. Pray with Lauren Raiter for God to work in people in Madrid who are curious about Jesus, and give thanks that the gospel is always relevant to our lives. Give thanks with Miriam Bradshaw for the freedom to speak of and worship Jesus freely in Spain. Pray with Chris & Kristy Galea for deepening relationships and unity among the international and local Maltese Christian communities. Give thanks with David & Cathie Sandifer for a good start to David’s teaching sabbatical. 

Give thanks with Karina Brabham for a visit from her parents this month. Pray for the GBU regional weekend away (29–31 May), where students will be challenged to consider weakness in light of the Bible rather than secular culture. Pray with Emma Payne that Christians in Nantes will continue to reach others with the love of Jesus. Give thanks with Dan & Erina Sawyer as they begin their language tutoring. Pray for opportunities and boldness to practise French in the community. Give thanks with Colin & Catherine Puffett for the baptisms during a church weekend away this month, and ask that the congregation grows closer as a community and to God. Pray with Gillian Akers for boldness in noticing and following up with those open to home visits. Give thanks with Stephanie Hawkins for progress in language learning through classes and her Austrian hosts. 

Pray with Chris & Grace Adams for Chris’ teaching on Galatians to students three evenings each week this month. Pray for Grace as she manages additional family responsibilities during this time. Praise God with Christopher & Julie Dean for encouraging link church visits during their final Home Assignment. Give thanks for the blessing of these gospel partnerships. Pray with Taulama Siuhengalu for patience and empathy in his work at the College, particularly in staff meetings. 

Pray with Andrew Buchanan & Abi Tandiseru for wisdom as they seek to be light in the local congregation. Pray with Rowan for his time in Australia on Home Assignment, and for the locums serving at the church in his absence. Pray with Chris & Erin for an encouraging time visiting Moore College students and faculty this week. Pray with Co-Mission Partner Yumin that members on the church camp (30 May – 1 Jun) will grow in their understanding of the Holy Spirit and love for the triune God through Ephesians. 

Pray with Julie that she finds and makes moments to reflect on the Lord during the busyness of Home Assignment. Ask God with Rebekah to grow her in love and grace as she serves. Pray with Jon & Deborah  for Simeon’s time back in Australia for three months as he works and renews friendships. Pray with Josh & Nici for perseverance and mutual encouragement during their remaining church visits this month. 

Pray with K that the Lord’s people in her location will lead lives filled with love, grace, faith and truth. Pray with L & C that God will reveal himself to unreached people in their location. Ask God with N to provide two native speakers with a passion for long-term English teaching ministry to join the language centre. Pray with N & R that N will find his feet in his language research role and wisely negotiate time demands from his campus. Give thanks with I as she officially joins the teaching staff at the language school. Pray for her relationships with the senior staff, other teachers, students, and new local neighbours. 

Pray with Tim & Olivia Mulherin for an increase in the number of patients at MMC amidst a changing national healthcare landscape. Pray with Jeremy & Jill Horrocks that all PPBS and HOPE students have deepened their relationship with Jesus this academic year. Pray for HOPE Year 12 as they prepare to leave family and travel abroad for further study. Praise God with Maurice & Amanda Jacobson for his grace in allowing them to serve in Cambodia for the last five years. 

SAH: Pray with Matthew & Caitlin Bakon for careful reflection on what they have learned at SAH, that they will be godly and thoughtful cross-cultural servants in Vanuatu. Pray with R & J that their deputation and farewells will point everyone involved to Jesus. Ask God with Tim & Eloise Cumming for his wisdom and guidance as they plan for life and ministry after SAH. Pray with Phill & Wendy Evans that the good news of Jesus will be proclaimed clearly when Ugandans commemorate Uganda Martyrs Day. Give thanks with Simon & Margie Gillham for the provision of SAH. Pray that God will continue to transform them into the likeness of Jesus. Give thanks with Jonty & Bethany Perrett for the great friendships they’ve made at SAH. Pray for the next transition to Home Assignment in Sydney. Pray with Stuart & Yukiho Sharry that they will cherish their last few weeks at SAH and the fellowship they have enjoyed there. Pray for the boys as their family transitions back to the Gold Coast. Across Cultures: Pray for the Training Day on 23 May, for strong attendance, enthusiastic engagement, and a growing confidence within participants to share the gospel with people from different cultures. 

Pray with Nathan & Diane Lovell as they come to the end of their Home Assignment and prepare to return to location in early June. Give thanks with Kylie Zietsch for the Talhite training for theological educators, and pray her team uses the training to be more effective and faithful. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partner Thulisile (& Thato) Mabe for their twins’ upcoming birthday. Pray Nala and Maru will love and know Jesus all their lives. Praise God with Daniel & Olivia Webster that he is building his kingdom in the big and small moments. Give thanks with Jesse & Amy Morrison for the partnership of link churches in Penrith, Lakewood, and Darwin. 

Pray with Brenton & Mel Kilby that Brenton’s training will encourage and assist churches to run mid-week Bible studies. Pray with Mike & Katie Taylor as their family heads to Australia for Home Assignment in two groups. Pray for Miriam as she transitions to life in Australia. Pray with Grant & Alison Gallant for patience and boldness throughout language learning. Praise God with Michael & Jean Burke for progress on the Geriatrics and Family Medicine curricula, sent for government approval last month. Give thanks with David & Jenny Juniper for the openness of people in Congo to spiritual conversations. Pray for the Junipers’ speech to be full of grace and seasoned with salt for the glory of God.
