Pray with M for deeper connections with the families of children who attend the centre where she works. Pray with Anna Radkovic that God would use ‘A Rocha Kenya’ to encourage each and every staff member, volunteer or guest with his good news for the world. Give thanks with Anthony and Trudi Elyard for rest before starting partner church visits. Pray for opportunities to continue to plan well for the months to come. Thank God with Co-Mission Partners Anwar Berhe and Tsigereda Atankir for new believers in their suburb and pray for their growth in the love of God. 

Pray with Malcolm and Ainsley Purdey for the students at the Centre for Pastoral Studies (CEP): that the upcoming study week would not only give them time for assignments, but they would be encouraged to apply their learning to life and ministry. Pray with Chris and Stef Overhall that MOCLAM students, currently studying New Testament 4 and ‘Creation to New Creation’ with Chris, continue to learn and grow in their faith in the Lord Jesus. Pray that the church retreat this weekend would be of great encouragement. Pray with Frances Cook for good leadership of the Anglican Church in Chile, as a new bishop begins in the role. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Álex (and Karina) Córdova Morales for patience in learning language and culture. Pray with CoMPs Andrés and Annika Ruiz Caro that Andrés will teach his ‘Pentateuch’ course at CEP well and faithfully. Give thanks with Adrian and Anita Lovell for the opportunity to meet with the broader MOCLAM team in Spain earlier this month. Pray that the shared time, discussions, and plans would bring glory to God. 

Pray with Martin and Julie Field for the continuing enthusiasm of both students and staff in their Año Puente program. Give thanks with Amy Stephens that ‘The Ripple Effect’ evangelism course is now available in Spanish and pray for the ABUA students in Córdoba who will participate in the training over the next few months. Pray with Peter and Terry Blowes for the three ABUA couples who are getting married in April. Pray for fruit from the April month of evangelism, and for training opportunities in May. Thank God with Pedro and Joy Oliveira Woolmer for their home and many opportunities to use it for ministry. Pray that God would continue to grow the reach and impact of MOCLAM within the Uruguayan church. Pray with Nick and Kysha Davies for the month of intensive classes they’re teaching in April, plus the two weekend intensives Nick has to travel to other cities to teach. Pray with Co-Mission Partners Bryan and Sarah Haro Leon for Bryan’s preparations for two subjects, ‘Old Testament’ and ‘Systematic Theology’ that he will be teaching in May and June. 

Pray with Matt and Ellen Tyler for a refreshing break in their week off and good preparation as they prepare for their final deputation visit. Thank God with Joel and Tiffanie Atwood for Tiff’s continuing opportunities in kids’ ministry at their church. Give thanks with Keith and Marion Birchley for the volunteers who have joined them and the ministry apprentices in the Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship. Pray that the students continue to grow in maturity. Pray also for Keith’s health and immunity to be strengthened. Thank God with David Pettett for new staff at the college, and pray for them as they build relationships and settle in. 

Pray with Ian and Jenny Wood with new teaching blocks starting this month, that they would be gracious in their dealings with the students and the other staff. Pray that the students will take the things they learn home and put them into practice in their own communities. Thank God with Derek and Rosemary Snibson for encouragement from their link churches.  Pray for them as they take up their responsibilities again in Darwin. Pray with Simon and Claire Koefoed for a new network of ‘Bible learners’—a program linking Aboriginal ministry workers with Bible-reading friends with experience in remote community ministry. Thank God with Co-Mission Partners James (and Miriam) Woods, Marlene Andrews and Mandy Manggurra for his continuing gifts of life and hope in Jesus. 

Pray with Chris and Karen Webb for many people in Broome enslaved to alcohol and drugs; that God would set them free, and protect vulnerable family members that suffer because of substance abuse in their household. Give thanks with Matt and Lisa Pearson for the children who have been coming along to church. Ask that God would continue to mature these kids to know, love and pass on the good news of Jesus to the next generation. Pray with Josh and Steph Mackenzie for the church leaders in Arnhem Land. Pray for their perseverance in the gospel and that they might be encouraged by the work of the Spirit in their communities. Pray with Geoff and Hannah Harper for indigenous brothers and sisters in Christ: may God’s church in remote communities grow in strength and number. 

Pray with M that he would grow in the skills taught at St Andrew’s Hall (SAH), such as Bible storytelling and resolving conflict, and that new friends who have heard a Bible story would be touched by the Holy Spirit. Give thanks with Lachlan and Candy Grice for good connections with Taiwanese people in Melbourne. Pray that the Grices would have opportunities to love them well, as they learn from them about life and culture. Pray with Samuel and Bec for God to continue to grow and prepare them for ministry in a remote Aboriginal community. Give thanks with Bill and Linda Colyer that their sons, Steven and Matthew, visited them for a week over Easter. Thank God with Emma Payne for the churches who are keen to partner with her and CMS in France, and pray for God’s provision of more churches to link with. Thank God with S and D for a fantastic and formational time of learning at St Andrew’s Hall. Mentac: Give thanks for the ministry in the Peace Tent in Sydney each night of the last month. Pray for Mentac apprentice Daniel, and his trainer Ben, as they pursue connections with local Muslims made during the month. Across Cultures (VIC): Praise God for the first two ‘Hubs’ on Culture and Worldview that have just been completed, and the great engagement from the participants. Pray for the May Training Day on Evangelism: ‘Communicating the gospel cross-culturally with gentleness and respect’. 

Pray with D and T for T as she translates materials and prepares for training opportunities, and ask God for more open doors to help vulnerable children in their city. Pray with L for a fruitful Home Assignment. Pray with Sam and Shan-Shan Chrisp for students to finish semester well, walking by the Spirit as they face the pressure of exams. 

Pray with Kellie Nicholas for a good time of fellowship, with pastoral visitors Peter and Sarah Sholl, and at the CMS Japan gathering next week. Praise God with Chenny Thie for the new academic year. Pray for first year students to join KGK, especially those from Christian family backgrounds. Pray with Elle Bryce as she begins a second year of language study, that she starts the new class well-refreshed and able to soak up even more Japanese language. Pray with Dene and Rachel Hughes for good patterns to be set, now the academic year has begun. Pray for new KGK committees (having run their first prayer meetings and Bible studies) that they might now review and plan with priorities from God’s Word. 

Pray with Matt and Jen Lim for wisdom and guidance in their next ministry steps, as they finish their service with CMS. Pray with Matt and Bex Ooi for the high school gospel work of Hi-B.A., as the organisation experiences leadership changes. Pray with Dave and Beck McIntyre for students who have just started the new school year, including Mitch in grade 6—an exciting time but also a hard time for kids who don’t like school very much. Pray with Steven and Sandra Parsons for the opportunity Steven has this week to meet other TEAM Regional Leaders from around the world, to learn more about helping missionaries to effectively share Jesus. Thank God with Adam and Helane Ramsay for the kids Easter event at church, and pray for the Ramsay kids starting the new school year, that they would have good, supportive teachers and growing friendships. Give thanks with Nathan and Maki Clapham for Ian beginning school. Pray for wisdom as the Claphams plan the next steps for the church plant in Komoro. 

Give thanks with Gordon and Ruth Russell for the faithful service of CMS missionaries in Nepal over the past 65 years. Pray that Nepali churches in Australia will coordinate their ministries and share resources to reach the burgeoning Nepali community in Australia. Give thanks with Bruce and Libby Hayes for Easter celebrations. Pray for Bruce’s ongoing online contact with the Bangladesh MA students in their Ethics subject, that he will provide helpful feedback and encouragement in their assignments. Pray with Co-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Sam and Sharmila Budhathoki that God would protect their family’s physical health as Sam writes up his dissertation on salvation. Thank God with CoMPs Ashish Christian and Karuna Sharma and CoMPs Jiwan and Binita for continued gospel opportunities in difficult times. 

Pray with A for God’s leading and blessing for suitable land, and for the construction of a new campus to accommodate up to 500 students for the Christian International school where she serves. Pray with M and K that they will have opportunities to speak about their hope in Christ with neighbours who are open to listening to the good news. Pray especially for K and his family, that they would believe. Pray with E that friends who have shown interest in Jesus would pursue him. Pray with K (and A) for the safe delivery of their baby (due early May) and for wisdom, grace and love for them as new parents. Pray with S and E for good rest and quality time with family while they are on holidays this week. 

Join R in asking the Lord of the harvest for more workers for Eurasia. Praise God with J and P for the encouraging time they were able to have with their pastoral visitors recently! Pray with J and S for a fruitful pastoral visit with their Regional Mission Director. 

Pray with J for opportunities to share Jesus with friends celebrating Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Pray with S and M for a time of rest after a busy period of Ramadan, Easter and Eid, and that they can continue working hard at learning Arabic. Pray with Dan and Marg that R and H would have the desire and courage to attend church in their new country, and that this church would embrace them lovingly and shine the light of Jesus. Pray with Gavin and Megan Rosser that they would get to know the church in Amman, and that the preaching of ‘Romans’ would grow them. Thank God with Derk and Susan for the ‘Walking with Jesus’ event, where many students gave testimonies of their ongoing walk with Jesus amidst temptations, difficulties, with joy and thankfulness.  

Pray with B and other workers as daily rhythms return to normal after Ramadan, as they balance investing in local relationships with other responsibilities. Give thanks with C for those who are the first generation of believers in her location. Pray that they would hold fast to his Word and be strengthened (see 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17). Pray with J for believing women who are in oppressive situations to grow in character, love, and perseverance; and not give in to the messages of hopelessness around them. Pray with M for K (a teenage boy with worsening seizures due to a large cyst in his brain) for healing and/or an opportunity for him to have surgery; and for his family to meet the Messiah. Pray with W and S for progress and perseverance in language study, and for patient friends to practise with. Pray with S and P for the witness of their underground church during Ramadan. 

Pray with Morgan and Olivia for Morgan as he preaches through James in April and May, that the church would live out their faith in an undivided way. Thank God with Elizabeth for faithful co-leaders that help her in training youth. Pray with John and Deb that after big Easter services they may follow up people well, and integrate them into regular church activities and Alpha courses. Pray with Craig and Lisse for women from several evangelical churches coming to a conference to be trained in teaching God’s Word later this month. Thank God with Ray and Sandy for ‘Movement Day Middle East’ where Christians gathered to prayerfully consider initiatives to serve and love the cities in the Middle East for Jesus. Ask God for Christian marriage counsellors to join Fellowship (their church) to help couples. 

NSW & ACT: Pray for Camp Milimani, (15-18 April) as over 100 children are challenged from Philippians to hold on to the gospel, live for Jesus and ‘shine like stars’ before a watching world.  

QNNSW: Praise God for our link churches and others that support missionaries so faithfully through prayer and giving. 

SANT: Praise God for the annual Top End Global conference that look place in Darwin in March. Pray for continuing good partnership with NT churches and ministry. 

TAS: Pray for final preparations for next month’s World Mission Youth Night, and that many churches and youth groups would attend. 

VIC: Pray for God to keep raising workers for his harvest from Victoria. Praise God for those who have been sent and ask him to continue sustaining them long-term. 

WA: Pray for good planning for CMS-WA’s mid-year online dinner. 

Thank God with David and Cathie Sandifer for improved health for Josiah, and for encouraging times of teaching. Pray for Cathie’s wisdom in prioritising ministry and education possibilities, and for David as he preaches. Pray for Co-Mission Partner Jotham Booker to continue in a stable routine of work and rest. Pray with Klaus and Jude Hickel for those joining the church plant (September), as they grieve those who have decided not to join (people were asked to choose). 

Pray with Simon and Jessica Cowell as Simon directs the GBU National Conference (‘Festa’) on 25-28 April. Pray that many students come (and come safely) to be encouraged and challenged by the gospel. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Andrea (and Geanne) Becciolini for the Wintercamp (weekend away with students from Florence and Bologna). Pray that the many young believers who attended it bear much fruit for Christ’s glory. Pray with Jason and Hannah Fairclough for Festa: that students trust Jesus more through time in God’s Word, and are enthused to share Jesus with others. Pray with Gillian Law for the evangelistic week in the universities of Rome, starting today, that Christian students would be courageous in witnessing for Jesus. Thank God with CoMPs Bostjan and Lidija Cifer for the recent leadership conference for ministry apprentices and mentors. Pray that leaders would serve with joy. 

Pray with Jim and Tanja French for the MOCLAM international team get-together this month in Valencia: for safe travels, fruitful planning, good conversations, and encouragement from God’s word. Pray with Lauren Raiter for her visa application to be finalised, as she settles into life in Madrid. Pray with Miriam Bradshaw for immigrants arriving in Spain, for Christians to love them well. Praise God with Chris and Kristy Galea for the relationships they have formed with a small community in Malta, and for the openness and desire they have to learn from God’s word. 

Pray with Karina Brabham that God would keep deepening Karina’s trust in him, and remind her of his love and goodness. Join Colin and Catherine Puffett in praise for new families joining regularly for Sunday meetings, and spending time during the week. Pray for wisdom as they experiment with suitable activities for a growing group of 0-11 year olds. Thank God with Josh and Susannah Apieczonek for GBU student leaders. Pray for more students to step up into leadership roles. Give thanks with Gillian Akers for her first Easter in France and pray for continuation of conversations about the centrality of Jesus’ resurrection. Thank God with Michael and Rani Grivas-Allison, and Howard and Patricia Spencer, for the recent appointment of a new, locally trained GBU staffworker, Leon Li. Ask for God’s generous provision for Leon as he raises financial support in Belgium. 

Give thanks with Marty and Jenny Foord for the many students who have enrolled to study at ETCAsia for next semester. Pray that God will provide space to accommodate the growing student body. Thank God with Christopher and Julie Dean that March’s two-week training block for ‘home missionaries’ and non-ordained local-church leaders went well. Pray with Chris and Grace Adams as they plan the 2024 Bible Day conference. Pray for discernment to decide on the theme and Bible teaching. Pray with Malcolm and Leanne for their network of churches as they preach through Daniel: that they will remain faithful when persecuted, and trust God. Praise God with Taulama Siuhengalu for the wonderful gift of partnership with local churches, and the chance to be able to fellowship with them. Pray that God will give Co-Mission Partner T (and N) courage to proclaim his gospel as they have opportunity. 

Give thanks with Nick and Rebekah for recent visits from family. Praise God with Rowan for the four members of one family who were recently baptised, along with the 12 people from All Saints Anglican Church who were confirmed last month. Pray that they continue to grow in faithfulness and fruitfulness. Give thanks with Andrew Buchanan and Abi Tandiseru for a good start to their ministries, and pray for faithfulness and perseverance in doing good. Thank God with Chris and Erin for their new language teacher. Pray that they would have opportunities to share the love of Jesus with her. 

Pray with Julie for excellent conversations during the week-long holiday for the end of Ramadan, and for mid-semester exams to be a useful time afterwards. Pray with Jon and Deborah that God would help them to rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. Pray with Rebekah for those fasting and feasting this month to find living bread, and water that truly satisfies. Pray for rulers to govern with wisdom, for the society to have peace, and for God’s people to have freedom to live out their faith winsomely. Pray with Josh and Nici for majority faith people as they celebrate Ramadan. 

Pray with K for an upcoming special festival, for good connections and opportunities. Pray with N as her language centre has an Easter themed end-of-term party this Saturday, that the Easter message penetrates hearts and minds. Thank God with J for his continuing enablement at the language centre. Pray that students will be motivated to do well in their English studies, and that staff have the strength to provide what the students need. Praise God with I for new enquirers on location asking for Bibles and being followed up by national workers. Pray for A and J and I’s other former students spending time with Christians, that their journey to faith will continue. Pray with L and C that their holiday this month would be a time of real rest and refreshment. Pray with Howard and Michelle Newby for Geoff (whom Howard is meeting with twice weekly) that he will come to know the Lord. 

Pray with Tim and Olivia Mulherin for their boys’ friendships and socialisation at school. Pray with Craig and Samantha McCorkindale at the beginning of the Khmer New Year, that many Cambodians will find new life in Christ. Pray with Jeremy and Jill Horrocks for the PPBS students currently on their ministry exposure trip, that they will bring glory to God. Give thanks with Maurice and Amanda Jacobson for the church presentations they’ve been able to make, and the opportunities to connect with friends and supporters. Pray with Maggie Crewes for great times of learning and reflection at SAH, and for God to be at work preparing her for a new ministry. 

Give thanks to God for those who have recently completed their time of service with CMS, including Zoe Creelman and E. Pray that God may guide all former CMS missionaries in their next steps and future ministries. Pray too for believers in locations where they have served. Thank God for faithful prayer groups around Australia who continue to seek God for grace and favour for his servants in other locations. 

Pray for wisdom and encouragement for the leaders of CMS partner organisations. Pray for the General Secretaries of IFES student movements to serve with creativity and humility, bringing glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Pray with Daniel and Olivia Webster for joy and strength as they serve those around them. Thank God with Kylie Zietsch for an amazing time at recent CMS events and for the spiritual refreshment and encouragement received. Pray for church visitations this month: for good connections, encouraging sharing and a renewal of financial and prayerful support. Pray with Nathan and Diane Lovell for endurance in many worthwhile projects, including Diane’s translation work. Pray with Mike and Karen Roe for faculty team building at GWC this month. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partner Thulisile (and Thato) Mabe for God’s provision of life, and pray that this grace will flow out through her ministry at JBC.
