CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Software Developer. This position is full time, based in our Sydney office.

As a Software Developer you will work closely with the Data Systems team to maintain and enhance the CMS Salesforce platform and support the work of global mission by ensuring our data systems effectively facilitate the ongoing partnership between missionaries, supporters, churches and staff.
You will be part of a growing team working towards the consolidation and management of multiple Salesforce instances and the expansion of additional Salesforce functionality, including Experience Cloud and Event Registration.
You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Primary responsibilities include development and maintenance of web pages for campaigns, events, and our new user experience portal. Secondary responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Salesforce configuration changes, modifying page layouts, system upgrades, patching and maintenance, data protection and disaster recovery, system and user security, governance and compliance, system testing and sandbox development, web development and technical documentation.
In conjunction with the Data Systems Architect and Systems Analyst, you will be able to translate business needs into technical requirements and select the appropriate technology for implementation.
The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications and professional experience, as well as a demonstrated interest in global mission.

CMS NSW & ACT Supporter Services Consultant
(3 days per week)
CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Supporter Services Consultant. This position is part time (3 days per week), based in our Sydney office.
CMS works with churches to set apart, equip and support long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see a world that knows Jesus.
As a Supporter Services Consultant you will be part of a friendly, service focussed team aiming to ensure positive interactions for CMS supporters with the Branch office. You will be involved in advancing the work of global mission by using your excellent interpersonal and administrative skills to attend to a range of requests from supporters, and provide administrative assistance to various departments as needed.
You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, carrying out your duties in an effective and trustworthy manner. Primary Responsibilities will incorporate a range of tasks as required, including receptionist duties (one day per week), responding to a range of supporter requests in a professional and timely manner, processing donations, updating and cleansing supporter data, taking enquiries and bookings for our Conference Centre, and completing a range of administrative tasks.
The successful applicant will have relevant administrative skills and appropriate experience as set out in the Position Description, as well as a demonstrated interest in world mission. The applicant will also be available to work in our Sydney office for three days per week, including Wednesday. Flexibility in hours may be available for the right candidate.
Salary will be appropriate to qualifications, skills and experience.

CMS Australia Sub-Editor
(3 days per week, 12 month contract)
Do you have editing and writing skills and a passion for cross-cultural mission?
CMS Australia is currently seeking a sub-editor to start work immediately for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will work as part of the Communications Team producing print and digital publications that engage members and supporters of CMS. The position is flexible, with work location to be shared between the Sydney CBD office, and home.
CMS (the Church Missionary Society of Australia) is a fellowship of Christian people committed to cross-cultural mission. CMS works in partnership with local churches to set apart long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Skills & attributes:

- A sharp eye for detail with demonstrated experience in editing and proofreading
- A demonstrated ability to write and relate to diverse audiences
