About

CMS Central West Mission Expo is an annual event run by CMS NSW & ACT and local supporters in the Central West, where Christians can enjoy fellowship with one another and engage with God’s mission around the world.

The day will include:

Challenging and mission-focused Bible talks
Interactive sessions with missionaries serving around the world
A kids program for Primary-aged children (pre-registration required).

Speaker

Stuart Coulton, previous principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College, will be our key speaker this year. Stuart will be challenging and encouraging us in our partnership and participation in bringing the gospel to the nations as he preaches on Acts 1:1-11 and Acts 9:1-19.

Stuart trained and worked as a lawyer prior to ordination as a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Australia. After more than 15 years in pastoral ministry, he joined the staff team at Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) in 2002 and was Principal of the College between 2012-2019. During his time at SMBC, Stuart lectured in Church History, Spiritual Formation and Theology. Stuart is the author of Hitting the Holy Road (IVP, 2011). He and his wife Pauline have three adult children and six grandchildren.

We will have the privilege of hearing from missionaries who are serving, and preparing to serve, in various parts of the world.

Registration

Online registration for Central West Mission Expo 2024 is now closed, however on-site registration will be available from 9am on the day for adults.

Registration costs

Adult: $20 per person
Child: $10 per child
Family (2 parents with 2+ children): $50 per family

This is a family-friendly event with a kids’ program for school years K–6. Please note, children must be registered online before 5pm, 1 March.

On-site registration will be available from 9am on the day for adults.

Food and drink

Lunch on the day will be BYO (bring your own), however there will be an option to order sandwiches on the day.

Tea and coffee will be provided, and barista coffee can be purchased on-site.
