Mid North Global 2025
Do you feel the joy that mission brings both to the nations and to us?
We often focus on the sacrifice of mission or the plight of the world, but the Bible tells us that the nations will be glad – there will be, and there is, rejoicing and praise!
What does it look like to join with the nations in their gladness? Joyful Mission challenges us to see how God is at work around the world redeeming sadness, brokenness and fear to bring joy to those who love Him and seek Him.
Mid North Global takes place in Port Pirie and is a must attend mission event for your calendar!
This conference is filled with insightful talks, panel discussions and stories from CMS SANT missionaries. Mid North Global will stretch our thinking on what it means to reach gospel-poor peoples for Christ while we fellowship and worship together.
CMS exists to see a world that knows Jesus through partnering with churches to equip, send and support gospel workers as they share about Jesus across cultures. At Mid North Global 2025 you’ll hear how partnership with CMS is helping to reach the nations with the good news of Jesus.

Speakers

Mark Peterson is the Director of CMS in South Australia Northern Territory. In that role, he works with churches to encourage and engage people in the challenges and possibilities of global mission, invites people to partner with missionaries and journeys with people inquiring about mission. Mark lives in Adelaide and is married to Allie. They have 3 wonderful kids; 2 in high school and 1 in primary school.

Frances Cook is a former CMS missionary who served in Chile working at the Centro de Estudios Pastorales (CEP, Centre for Pastoral Studies). For over 35 years, she had been discipling and training the next generation of pastors and leaders who will shepherd South American Christians into the future. Frances had taken on many roles including teaching Introductory Greek and Church History, and many administrative roles. She also coordinated the Diocesan Certificate in Theology program, which is a theology course for lay people.
Since its beginnings in 2003 the CEP has seen graduates returning to serve in their home churches, not only from Chile, but from many other South American countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Paraguay.
