Why we chose mission

Over the years God gave us the desire to help people from other cultures hear and understand the gospel. After becoming aware of the need for long term cross-cultural workers who could disciple and equip Aboriginal Christians in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, we joined CMS and moved to the regional town of Broome to teach the Bible and disciple Aboriginal Christians in Broome People’s Church (BPC).

Teaching and training Aboriginal Christians

As pastoral workers in BPC we have many opportunities to encourage and teach Aboriginal Christians as well as introduce others to Jesus for the first time. People from all over the Kimberley regularly visit Broome which has allowed us to build relationships with Christians in communities and towns across the region. This has led to opportunities to preach the gospel to many non-believers at funerals as well as begin to develop Bible and ministry training for future church leaders in the Kimberley.

Will you partner with us?

We have been able to continue proclaiming the gospel in the Kimberley for the last 10 years because of generous Christian partners who have sustained us financially and spiritually through prayer. We believe that God would have us keep on encouraging and teaching Aboriginal Christians in the years to come and so we invite you to partner with us through CMS.
